Latest update on the new intranet

Members of the Support Team are the latest group of users to preview and test the new intranet. Director of Support Debbie Neill said "The design is clean and simple and the navigation is easy to understand." Area Manager, Chris Pascoe and her team in Dorset made some useful suggestions for tweaks. London and South East Area Manager, Ian Bond commented that the site has a more educational quality. Ian helped out by encouraging members of the Hackney Outreach Team and Casual Staff to test the document library search function. This brought positive results and good feedback.
Cornwall Area Manager, Di Benden was part of the original project team responsible for developing the site. She said, "I really like it. It's colourful, informative and easy to find your way around. It's great that we can continue to make changes to the site through user feedback. The new intranet also has better functionality, with features like 'Ask Julie' now fully integrated into the design."
The ICT Team have been helpful and fully supportive throughout this project. They are now working on moving the intranet from a test platform onto Advance servers ready for the launch.
