Our Employment team held a Jobs Fair for the residents of Chelmsley Wood, as part of their
Connecting Communities Employment Support Pilot. The event was held in conjunction with
Shaw Trust and had a number of employers, training providers and partners attend including Princes Trust, Prospects, Skills Training UK, Jobcentre Plus, Birmingham City Council and Solihull MBC; providing customers with 1000's of employment and training opportunities.
Over 100 people attended the event, which was hailed a massive success, by residents and organisations that attended.
We are looking to hold these events on a quarterly basis to enable us to support even more residents of Chelmsley Wood into employment.
