Ben's Farming Success

Ben from Basingstoke has been doing some great work on a local farm - his support worker Magda is really pleased with his successes and wanted to share:
"It's been such a pleasure and joy to observe Ben building the path for two horses on one of private Basingstoke's farm. That not only gave him the first hand experience of feeding the horses but also made him aware of how challenging it might be when looking after the farm animals.
It was great to see Ben feeding the chickens and collecting freshly laid, delicious eggs from chickens' house. Ben enjoyed the variety of chickens and learnt that they love corn, grapes, natural yoghurt – just like him. And that the more healthily chicken eat, the better the eggs taste.
Ben showed great enthusiasm when cleaning the garden from the old branches, planting the pine tree and proved great bravery when collecting all the dogs' waste...
There was loads of smiles and laughter at the farm. Hopefully, we will go there again soon!"
