Congratulations to Lisa for getting her long service award. Lisa's manager Faye, has a few words to say:
"Lisa first joined Advance in 2004. Lisa has worked for advance for 15 years, she started as a support worker in Nottingham working with customers with mental health issues and Learning disabilities through various initiatives including supporting people, and Community Support Enablement.
Lisa has supported customers to achieve so many things, to name a few supporting one customer to achieve his dreams of becoming a chef - this customer is now a dad and is getting married. As a support worker, Lisa has helped customers to buy into the then SOLD scheme home now known as hold. Lisa also introduced and accompanied customers to a Nottingham based Trans Group (Nottingham Chameleons) to try and give opportunity's and support to our customers outside the confines of their homes.
Over the last 15 years Lisa's role has developed and changed with Advance, becoming an interim manager, team leader and now full time service manager... Lisa is now a service manager and is working on a new rehabilitation project supporting ex-offenders leaving prison which is can be very challenging, complex and new way of working for Advance and Lisa."
