Luton long service visit

Chief Executive Julie Layton visited Luton Services earlier in May for lunch with customers and staff where she also presented Long Service Awards to four members of staff. Customers said "It was good to meet Julie and nice to talk to her during lunch."
Julie was delighted to present the awards and praised staff for their hard work and dedication to their work over the years. Congratulations go to the following staff for their long service with Advance:
*Justine Griffiths, Service Manager for 135 Tennyson Road, Bowls Court- Luton and Letchworth for 25 years service with Advance
*Mary Smith and Rachel Redmond of 83/94 Tennyson Road Luton for 15 years service respectively
*Sonia James of 95 Ashburnham & 8 Brantwood Road
Justine is our longest serving employee at Advance and has seen many changes over the years. Justine said: "I have enjoyed working here and have seen services change for the better, being much more customer focused. It's also great to be part of a team that is consistent and we all work really well together."
Service Manager, Bertha Kamuna said: "Mary started her support worker job role at 135 Tennyson Road (LD) service) then moved to 83/94 Tennyson (MH) service where she currently works. Rachel did something similar but started her job at 95 Ashburnham then moved to 83/94 Tennyson road where she currently works. Sonia started her support worker job role at 83/94 Tennyson Road , then moved to 95 Ashburnham & 8 Brantwood Road where she currently works. These ladies are all flexible, moving between services, and are great team workers."
